Homemade Avocado Pesto

IMG_1229.JPGThis pesto sauce is a game changer! You can use this with literally anything from dipping veggies or crackers in to toast or pasta! It’s a nice, thick consistency so its very versatile. If you’d like the consistency to be less thick and more liquid, add more oil or water. Enjoy!




  • one avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of walnuts
  • 1.5 cup of basil
  • 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds
  • juice from one lemon
  • 1/8 cup of olive oil
  • a nice dash of paprika, garlic, and black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink himalayan salt


  1. Blend all your ingredients and you’re done! It lasts in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.
