Paleo Turkey Meatballs

I love cooking and she has such amazing family recipes that I sometimes tweak to make gluten free, dairy free, etc. These are my all time favorite turkey meatballs that I made paleo by using almond flour instead of breadcrumbs. They also happen to be dairy free and pair perfectly with tomato sauce and spiralized zucchini! Enjoy…

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 ounces organic ground turkey
  • 1/3 C fresh basil
  • 1/4 C almond flour
  • 1 pasture-raised egg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. finely chop the basil and mince the two garlic cloves
  2. combine all ingredients and with your two hands, make small balls out of the mixture
  3. bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  4. i suggest adding tomato sauce and zucchini noodles but the meatballs are good with  just about everything!
